We are pleased that Island Lodge is open, and welcoming guests, but there are restrictions in places in line with government policy.

A 50% deposit will be requested for all reservations (full payment for stays of four nights or less), with the remaining balance payable at least fourteen days prior to arrival. Payments are to be made BACS only. Sorry no cash, cheques or cards.
Once a deposit has been paid we will be as flexible as possible with your reservation in the event of new travel restrictions or local lockdowns. Your reservation can be amended to alternative dates or held for a future reservation. We will be happy to discuss our cancellation and booking amendment policy to you in connection with COVID-19.
Should you or any member of your party/household show symptoms of Covid-19 within 14 days of your arrival please contact us. In this instance you will not be able visit us, your reservation dates can be amended or your deposit will be refunded.
Please be assured we have carried out our risk assessment and we will endeavour to have all safety precautions in place to ensure your stay with us is as safe and risk free as possible, but some emphasis will have to be on you as guest as well to take your own precautions.
We request that you follow all social distancing guidelines and mask wearing whilst on site (as per government policy) - please be respectful of other site users.
On arrival we would still like to meet you in person (socially distanced of course) to advise you of information you will require for your stay with us and for directions to your pitch.
Site Reception - only one person at a time, you must wear a face mask (hand sanitiser available) If you have a dog, please ensure it is secured at the dog stop.
Site Barrier - hand sanitiser is available.
Site Shop - there will be no shop this year, with the exception of Calor Gas and toilet chemicals.
Laundry Facilities - Only one household at a time. Dishwashing facilities - Only one household at a time.
Fridge/Freezer - This facility will NOT be available Chemical Disposal Point - only one person at a time. (hand sanitiser, soap and water available)
Play Area - Your children are welcome to play, but they must be supervised at all times.
Waste Disposal - There will limited facilities for the disposal of your waste.
Shower & Toilet facilities - If you have your own onboard facilities we would still prefer you to use these as much as possible as this is the safest option. We will have open two gender neutral washrooms and the disabled facilities (all have toilet, wash basin and shower). Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance, please ensure you can enter safely, maintaining social distancing. If occupied please wait outside or come back at a later time. Please clean prior to and after using the facilities, cleaning materials will be available for you to do this. We will continue to clean these facilities to a high standard in line with government advice, but your vigilance will be appreciated.
There will be times when all the facilities are closed to allow for deep cleaning. If the facilities are closed please come back at a later time to allow us time to follow our cleaning practices.
Day Visitors - At this time we will not be allowing day visitors to join you on site. (with exception to seasonal pitch holders)
Government policies and guidance are constantly changing and we will endeavour to keep up to date with the changes as well as taking advice from relevant industry bodies.
